Help AU Students Make the Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium More Accessible!
The Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium (EALS) is held each year at American University as the kick-off to Americans for the Arts’ Arts Advocacy Day. Each year, we bring leading figures in the art world to speak at our nationally recognized symposium to inspire the arts leaders of tomorrow through a keynote speaker, panels, workshops, networking, and more. EALS provides a unique space where emerging leaders share ideas and perspectives that inspire them to return to their respective organizations energized and ready to do meaningful work.
On March 11, we held our 11th annual symposium themed Art Now, and it was an incredible success! We are already looking forward to our 12th year in 2019, and we have some pretty big goals. We seek to grow as a forum of future arts leaders and increase our accessibility by lowering the cost of attendance for emerging arts professionals and AU students. EALS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run entirely by American University Arts Management graduate students, and we can’t do this without your help! Your support will help us reach more emerging arts leaders while continuing to provide excellent and diverse programming with experts from around the country. Most importantly, your gift can help us strengthen the arts community by providing a platform to train and inspire the arts leaders of tomorrow and creating a stronger network of arts professionals.
